DJ PUN & MARVIN have been entertaining audiences with their unique blend of flare and intelligence since November 2008. In February 2009, based on their impressive performances the two were approached to join the Trinidad arm of the internationally renowned sound system TEK 9 Movements. The pair saw this as a great opportunity to further their career and agreed to make the transition. That relationship seemed promising but was only short lived however due to a lack of agreement over certain issues with the local representative for the sound.
Unfazed by the whole experience the two regrouped and continued their musical journey through the year as they continued to book regular dates. Approximately one year later, DJ PUN & MARVIN seem to have found a permanent home working on the Immortal Vybz Sound System known internationally for its exceptional mixtape productions and clever remixes. 2010 promises to be an exciting year for the sound’s newest selectors as they seek to break new ground and take their musical talents to the international arena. |
