DeeJRomeo Born in Trinidad and Tobago on the 9th April 1985 started to Dj at the age of 12. DeeJRomeo was influenced by jazzy Jeff, Dj Am, and Run DMC when Romeo first moved to the USA in 2000. He started listening to hip hop at the age of 16 at that time he was still in Trinidad and Tobago but came to the USA a lot to visit family members in California. Romeo as every dj loves his/her country/state, Trinidad and Tobago the land of soca music where artist like Bunji Garlin, Machel Montano are the peak of the music, around carnival time. Since he moved to the USA, Romeo been getting into Hip Hop,funk,pop more and more and he listen to all the popular radio stations around town every weekend. To here the djs mix to get accustom to the style of music in California. So he can get into the style of music they like, Then one day Romeo decided to attend college in Saint Louis in 2005. And one day his friends told him to listen to z 107.7 and he became more into pop, dance, electro, house, but from the beginning he have been a open format dj since he was born in The Caribbean he new about reggae, soca, funk,pop due to artist like, rihanna, elephant man, sean paul, bob marley, beeniman. Most of his shows are out of town since he play a lot of Reggae and hip hop combinations and videos that he edit him self .Romeo has been a dj for 12 years now and continues to learn more and more every day.
Today I stand in my bedroom which is filled with records and a box called serato.
